Who we are
Baby Red Light (“we,” “our,” “app”) provides a calming red night light for parents and babies.
Data we collect
Account data (required for sign-in): email address and an internal user ID (e.g., Firebase UID).
Advertising identifiers: device Advertising ID (AAID/IDFA) for ad delivery and frequency capping.
(Optional) App performance data: crash logs and diagnostics if Crashlytics/analytics are enabled.
We do not collect photos, contacts, messages, precise location, or payment info.
How we use data
App functionality: authenticate your account and save basic preferences.
Advertising: show ads (and limit repeats).
Reliability & safety: diagnose crashes and improve performance (if enabled).
Data sharing
Auth provider (e.g., Firebase Auth): processes sign-in securely.
Ad provider (e.g., Google AdMob): receives the device’s Advertising ID and limited context to serve ads.
Analytics/Crash reporting (if enabled): receives anonymized/per-device crash data.
We do not sell personal information.
Ads & choices
We may show personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your region and consent choices. You can reset/limit your device’s Advertising ID in system settings. Where required, we ask for consent before serving personalized ads.
Data retention
Account data: kept while your account is active; deleted upon verified deletion request.
Advertising/analytics data: retained per provider defaults and legal requirements.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). No method is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard protections.
Children’s privacy
The app is built for use by adults/caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under applicable age thresholds.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, portability, or deletion of your data.
